Winston Cunningham, the Head Chef at Crooklyn New York Caribbean Cuisine, has an incredibly interesting background that has led him to where he is today. Cunningham was born and raised in the vibrant city of Montego Bay, Jamaica, where he watched his parents cook authentic Jamaican dishes with passion and skill. As a child, he grew increasingly interested in the art of cooking and begged his parents to teach him.

This is where his culinary journey truly began! Cunningham’s parents imparted their knowledge to him generously, teaching him the art of prep and the secrets behind creating those delicious dishes that his family had enjoyed for generations. When he moved to New York, Cunningham began working in multiple restaurants and honing his skills, determined to own an eatery of his own one day.

After years of hard work and preparation, he and his wife, Sherwauna Cunningham, finally took the leap and established the highly successful Crooklyn New York Caribbean Cuisine in Georgia.
